We make the books we want to keep.

Airplane Mode Publishing House is a small press for curious minds, quiet mornings, and children who want the same page one more time.

Our story

Less noise. More depth.

We started Airplane Mode Publishing House because we could not find the books we wanted: approachable without being shallow, useful without feeling like homework, and considered enough to keep on the shelf.

Our 365 Daily Reads series turns a large subject into one short page for every day of the year. The promise is deliberately small—about five quiet minutes—because good habits need to fit inside real lives.

Doodle Dogs is for the smallest readers. It uses warm watercolor characters to make first letters, words, and colors feel personal. The pages are simple; the dogs are not.

Across both series, the standard is the same: clear writing, careful illustration, useful structure, and no filler. Every book we publish is something we would give to someone we love.

Editorial principles

Simple is not the same as slight.

01

Make it clear

We remove jargon and friction without flattening the subject or talking down to the reader.

02

Make it useful

A format should fit into life. A page should leave one idea worth carrying into the day.

03

Make it worth keeping

Writing, illustration, pacing, paper, and small details all count. Craft is the product.

Family-run

Close to the readers.

Being small keeps the distance short between an idea, a finished page, and the people who read it.
